Kershaw County Medical Center
Director of Home Health and Hospice

Kershaw County Medical Center is looking for a dynamic, innovative and compassionate leader with proven ability to manage, grow and promote our Home Health and Hospice Services.  The ideal candidate will be able to assure quality services while also managing financials. Position Qualifications:

OASIS QA&I Specialist
Columbia, SC

The OASIS QA&I Specialist is responsible for collection, verification, and transmission of accurate OASIS data. The objective is to maintain the integrity of the OASIS data bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, coordinates, and implements plans to educate staff on proper OASIS management
  • Audits OASIS records and develops QA&I indicators for improvement
  • Monitors OASIS reports (includes but not limited to Assessment Sequence, Start of Care, Extract, State, SS#, Unlocked, M0175/M0190) and gives feedback to staff and management regarding error correction.
  • Prepares OASIS for "clean" submission to DHEC, CMS, and ORYX, interprets validation reports, makes necessary corrections to data maintaining confidentiality of report data
  • Gives feedback to staff and management regarding the validity of OASIS data in the form of a monthly report and trends this data for QA&I reporting.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings and in-services and serves as resource person for OASIS questions
  • Assists QA&I Director as assigned to meet department goals.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Experience: At least two years experience in Home Health

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: RN

Special Training: Data entry
